We are currently hiring for the following labor categories at Levels 1 through 4. Clearance and customer eligibility requirements vary by billet.
Network Designer / Architect (NDA)
Describe and create generic, device independent network architectures. Incorporate Agency standard networking components, evaluate new technologies, and develop seamless migration strategies.
View role NSENetwork System Engineer (NSE)
Integrate network and telecom equipment into functional systems. Document layout, perform end to end testing, and integrate NSA serial and IP encryptors into secure networks.
View role NMNetwork Manager (NM)
Supply global network services by managing configuration, performance, and security. Utilize specialized test equipment and analysis tools to identify faults and restore mission services.
View role NIMSNetwork Installation & Maintenance Specialist (NIMS)
Perform life cycle support: test, troubleshoot, repair, and configure equipment. Execute hardware and firmware upgrades, and assist Tier 1 fault management using BERTS and data analyzers.
View role TETelecommunications Engineer (TE)
Perform R&D for circuit switched and data networks. Oversee access technologies, SONET, ISDN, TCP/IP protocols, and conduct traffic and performance modeling for global operations.

Baseline Qualifications
Due to the physical and logical access required to maintain the Agency's core infrastructure, applicants must meet the following baseline requirements.
Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance.
Ability to meet contract, customer, and site access requirements for the specific billet.
Degrees in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or 18 semester hours of specific military coursework such as JCAC, UCT, NWBC, or 1NWT.
CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, or DoD 8570 compliant certifications are highly preferred.
Willingness to work on site in the Fort Meade, MD area.
