Advanced Research & Data Science
Solving Hard Cryptologic Problems and Scaling Mission Data in Fort Meade, MD.
GS Consulting does not deal in AI hype or generic analytics; we deal in applied cryptologic science, high confidence engineering, and massive scale data architecture. We are looking for cleared mathematicians, operations researchers, and database managers capable of developing the theoretical models, algorithms, and secure data pipelines that the Department of Defense relies on. If you want to solve the hardest problems in national security, your capabilities are needed here.

Rigor, Algorithms, and Operational Reality.
Data is only as valuable as the algorithms that process it and the architecture that protects it. At GS Consulting, our advanced research teams work within a rigorous scientific framework to push the boundaries of what is possible.
Whether you are an Operations Researcher using stochastics to drive agency level decisions, a Cryptologic Computer Scientist performing active attack attribution, or a Database Manager migrating highly sensitive legacy data into modern object oriented mass storage, your work bridges the gap between theoretical mathematics and tactical execution.

Open Roles: Research & Data Science
We are currently hiring for the following labor categories at Levels 1 through 4. Clearance and customer eligibility requirements vary by billet.
Cryptologic Computer Scientist (CCS)
Design and deliver solutions to hard cryptologic problems. Apply operating systems, compiler theory, discrete math, and algorithm analysis to forensics, attack attribution, and critical network protection.
View role HCSSRHigh Confidence Software & Systems Researcher (HCSSR)
Develop the theory, techniques, and mathematical models for systems that cannot fail. Evaluate engineering frameworks to assess and validate high confidence systems software for the IC.
View role OROperations Researcher (OR)
Use scientific methods, statistical modeling, and stochastics to simulate operations. Develop decision support systems and automated algorithms to help management allocate resources and balance risk.
View role DBMDatabase Manager (DBM/DM)
Manage the life cycle of massive mission databases. Engineer OLTP systems, decision support systems (DSS), and migrate legacy data to modern, non relational mass storage while ensuring strict data quality.
